This is a beautiful collage, it is inspired by Birmingham's Botanical Gardens and features the Glasshouse in the distance and Gazebo at the forefront. It's made from my painting, printing and marbling papers, you also may recognise some of my floral prints within this work. When I am screen-printing I start off by sampling with many different colours layering up my design, these samples I then re-work into my gorgeous collages, giving the work even more of a personal touch. Combining my floral styles with painting and architecture shapes. This piece is both stunning from a distance and close up. Please feel free to get in touch for more details and to view in person.
This work is box framed with the glass a centimetre away from the artwork so you can appreciate the 3D look of the collage work.
